What is an overdraft limit?

What does this do?

The credit line linked to your checking account. Allows you to make payments or spend even if your balance drops below zero, up to this limit.

How to do it

  1. Enter the overdraft limit set by your bank.
  2. Available spending is shown as balance plus overdraft limit.
  3. This limit is not counted towards net worth; it is informational since interest may apply.

Why it matters

Knowing your available funds helps you see if scheduled payments will go through even with insufficient balance.
